Yard Card Rentals in Fort Mill, SC: Everything You Need to Know

There's something about Fort Mill that just makes celebrations feel bigger. Maybe it's the tight-knit neighborhoods. Maybe it's the way moms in this town show up for each other. Or maybe it's just that Fort Mill knows how to throw a party.
Whatever it is, we love being part of it.
We're Yard Card Rock Hill — a veteran-owned, family-run yard greeting business serving Fort Mill and the surrounding York County communities. If you've ever driven down Highway 160 and seen a yard exploding with giant "HAPPY 40TH!" signs and you smiled without even knowing the person, you already get what we do.
This guide covers everything you need to know about renting a yard card in Fort Mill, SC — from how it works to what it costs to which neighborhoods we serve.

What Is a Yard Card?

A yard card (also called a yard greeting, yard sign display, or lawn greeting) is a custom set of large, colorful signs we install on someone's front lawn for a special occasion. Think of it as a giant, three-dimensional birthday card spread across your grass — except instead of being tucked into an envelope, it's the first thing your loved one sees when they walk outside.
We deliver, set up, and pick up. You wake up to a yard full of joy. They wake up to a surprise they'll talk about for years.

Yard Card Packages and Pricing

We keep our pricing simple — two packages, both designed to make your celebration unforgettable.

Say It Proud — $100

Our standard package. Perfect for most birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, and welcome-home displays. Includes a custom message, themed decorations, and a yard full of color for 24 hours.

Say It Loud — $150

Our premium package. Bigger, bolder, and more elaborate — for milestone birthdays, big graduations, gender reveals, and any time you want to really make a statement. Extra signs, extra flair, extra photos worth keeping.
Both packages include delivery, setup, and pickup. No hidden fees. No surprises (except the good kind, in your loved one's yard).

How Far in Advance Should You Book?

Honestly? As soon as you know the date.
For Fort Mill, we recommend booking at least 1–2 weeks in advance for typical bookings. For high-demand times like graduation season (April–May), Mother's Day, & end-of-school-year teacher appreciation, we'd say 3–4 weeks to be safe.
That said — if you've got a last-minute celebration, reach out. We've pulled off some pretty amazing 24-hour rescues for Fort Mill families & we'll always try to make it work.

How the Process Works

It's about as easy as ordering a pizza:
